NCMA APPOINTS WORLD RACING GROUP EXECUTIVE JEFF HACHMANN TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

CONCORD, N.C. (October 29, 2026) – The North Carolina Motorsports Association (NCMA) today announced the appointment of Jeff Hachmann, Executive Director of Events for World Racing Group (WRG), to its Board of Directors. Hachmann brings more than 25 years of motorsports industry leadership experience to the association as it continues to expand its membership, strengthen its industry advocacy, and build a more connected motorsports business community across North Carolina.

Hachmann’s appointment reflects the NCMA’s ongoing commitment to assembling a Board of Directors representing the diverse businesses, racing disciplines and industry sectors that contribute to North Carolina’s position as the nation’s leading motorsports economy.

“Jeff brings an outstanding combination of industry experience, business leadership and a deep understanding of the motorsports landscape,” said Scott Lampe, Chairman of the NCMA Board of Directors. “His experience across multiple racing disciplines and his leadership within World Racing Group provide an important perspective as we continue to grow the Association’s influence and strengthen our ability to represent North Carolina’s motorsports industry.”

Hachmann has served in leadership roles with World Racing Group since joining the Concord, North Carolina-based organization in 2009. As Executive Director of Events, he plays a key role in planning, promoting and executing major motorsports events, including those involving the World of Outlaws and DIRTcar Racing. During his tenure with WRG, he also served as General Manager of Canandaigua Speedway in New York, overseeing operations at the historic dirt racing facility.

“I’m honored to join the NCMA Board of Directors and contribute to an organization that is bringing together leaders from across North Carolina’s motorsports industry,” said Hachmann. “Through my work with World Racing Group, I’ve seen firsthand the important role dirt track racing and major motorsports events play in our state’s economy. I look forward to bringing that perspective to the Board and working alongside fellow industry leaders to strengthen connections, create opportunities, and support the continued growth of motorsports throughout North Carolina.”

Before joining World Racing Group, Hachmann served as Director of Marketing at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where he helped lead marketing, promotion and business development initiatives as the facility emerged as the host of NASCAR’s championship weekend. His career also includes marketing leadership roles with Robby Gordon Motorsports and experience in sports marketing and sponsorship activation with Octagon.

“North Carolina’s motorsports industry extends well beyond any single racing series or discipline, and Jeff’s background reinforces the importance of representing that broader ecosystem,” said Chad Willis, Executive Director of the NCMA. “As our association continues to grow, we’re focused on bringing together influential leaders who understand both the competitive and commercial sides of motorsports. Jeff’s perspective will be particularly valuable as we expand our advocacy efforts, create new business connections, and elevate the visibility of the companies and organizations that power this industry.”

Hachmann joins the NCMA Board as the association experiences great momentum. The association has grown its membership by 40 percent this year and strengthened its focus on four strategic priorities: Advocacy, Networking, Visibility and Education.

Through its Board of Directors, industry committees and expanding membership network, the NCMA is working to ensure North Carolina remains the premier location for motorsports businesses, competition, innovation and investment.
